What really happens at USAF Tech School? Is it really like freshman year at a regular University?

My fiance has joined the USAF and will be in tech school in October. I have heard stories about wild and crazy, "Animal House" style parties, drinking, public sex, "barrack bunnies", etc . Is there any truth to these stories? We are both kinda over all that crap, which is why he joined the USAF instead of staying at a traditional four year university. I trust him completely, I just don't want him to have to deal with the same stupidity he is trying to leave.

Tech School is what you make of it. I went through a 6 week tech school at Lackland and it was pretty intensive so we really didn't have time to party and all that. It is done behind the back of the training leaders but if he's not into it then that's cool to
